Why we exist
A different approach to online parenting
Unlike typical video-calling apps or pre-loaded entertainment platforms, iZiViD puts your own content, voice, and parenting style at the heart of every call — all in a safe, private space where your child feels seen, guided, and loved.
Most platforms fall into two traps: Big Tech platforms prioritize data and profit over privacy and relationships. Family apps focus mainly on entertainment — not meaningful interaction. iZiViD is different — we put personal connection first, built for the parent who wants to be present, involved, and influential, even from a distance.
Danny Andreas, a father whose daughter lives 1,000 miles away, couldn’t find a tool that allowed him to share meaningful content and interact naturally with his child online. In 2015, he began combining Skype with Open Broadcasting Software to share videos, drawings, science lessons, and more — teaching his daughter math, astronomy, geography, and Dutch during their calls. In 2025, Eric Gipon joined as co-founder and CTO.
